William Morris by Archive
Earlier this year we were approached by @archive_sdg to showcase in our home the remastered classic designs of Sanderson and William Morris by Archive. Having worked for many years in a furnishing fabric department, I was instantly familiar with the classics and excited to see other designs for the very first time.
This window is next to our dining table, we wanted a practical and hardwearing kitchen/diner that was relaxed, informal and fun. We chose bright colourful plywood cabinets for the kitchen which gives it quite a happy carefree 1970’s vibe. We stripped the window frames back to wood in the kitchen and dinning room to add warmth and character. The Archive blind we chose matches the green walls perfectly and the pattern fits with the 70’s aesthetic too.
@archive_sdg offer a bespoke made to measure service, in all their stunning new fabrics. If you’ve never measured your windows for blinds and curtains, head to their website where it gives straight forward advice about how to get started. Fabric samples are available directly from their website.
