Room highlights

Using yellow to highlight the recess in the dormer window is a great way to create a separate zone in a very busy room. The loft is used as Cookies office, workshop, childrens play den, and generally a place for the things we haven’t quite decided where they will go yet… okay a dumping ground!

Luckily when I need to get some work done here, I sit with my back to the noise of the room, soak up the natural light, enjoy the view over the garden, relax to some music in the background, and sip a nice cup of coffee. I find the brightness of this space very calming.
