Birthday festivities

Last weekend we did a whistle stop tour of Manchester whilst the children stayed with Cookie’s parents. I packed a few outfits and way too many shoes, I was ready to flex a few moves on a dance floor, or any other opportunity. But the weather had other plans, it rained non-stop. What actually happened was we caught up on sleep, conversation, and managed to have a few meals out. It all happened so quickly that it feels like a distant memory, but a good one all the same.
