It's not the biggest of chops, but now I'm convinced I’m going much shorter at the back where it seems weakest. I've already booked the appointment. “It is only hair” (I've been told), but there's comfort in the familiar. I will continue to love thick coils, no matter the size but for me now, it's time for a change.

And when I want more volume all over, on pops a wig, simple. My top tip so far, is to find someone you trust making the cut, and have a chat beforehand.
