The dining room was in pretty good condition. It still had its coving, picture rails and ceiling rose. The highlight was it’s stained glass windows looking out onto the garden. The fireplace looked a bit 50’s, but we both quite liked it. It had a few unusual features such as door bell that was wired to ring up in the loft... I debated whether this would come in handy for calling Cookie when on the top floor.
